Exploring conceptual drawing and mapping

Exploring my heart rate/breathing, sound of music, the feeling of contact against the ground/wall etc and close up drawing of my finger for example were all very interesting explorations of drawing and conceptual practice. Looking at drawing something you cannot see but instead drawing things you can feel was very interesting and vastly changed my view of drawing. It was really important for me to also look at what people around me were doing afterwards and look at how people can percieve things can be so vastly different. The marks and way that people expressed these things were so different and it was so interesting to look at everyone's different views of it. I used a variety of tools like charcoal, chalk, pencil and pen to express it and used them according to what I felt worked. The use of two different colours or mediums was very important to explore as I could express a multitude of things. For example using black pen as a way of recording my pulse etc and the blue pen to record my breathing.
